VTX CATALYTIC PROCESS This VTX Catalytic Process is an efficient treatment procedure for recalcitrant organic compounds. With this technique, wastewater, groundwater, or soil containing organic contaminants can be completely oxidized on contact. A broad list of treatable chemicals would include selected pesticides, petroleum hydrocarbons, complex cyanides and chlorinated solvents. Included in the list of readily treatable chemicals are such notable contaminants such as MtBE, TCE, BTEX, and PCE. Application of the VTX Process is very straightforward. The process simply requires metering of the VTX catalyst with the oxidizing agent into the targeted wastewater with adequate mixing. The reaction occurs quickly thereafter. Since the VTX process occurs at or near neutral pH, there is no need for expensive equipment of special construction for metering the catalyst. Metering of the oxidizing agent component typically requires a commonly available PVC or polyethylene metering pump. VTX Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) VTX System applications do not stop with municipal wastewater treatment. INDUSTRIAL PRETREATMENT – Our technology can cheaply and effectively treat a long list of pollutants typically found in manufacturing waste streams.ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION – We can apply our technology to numerous contaminated soil and groundwater remediation activities. FACTORY FARMS – State and Federal agencies are severely restricting the odor and run-off of large commercial “factory” farms. Our technology is a cost effective solution to these challenges. |
